Dear colleagues!

I am contacting you about the IBM x3550 M4 server. Recently, the software was updated: IMM2 to version 8.41 and UEFI to version 3.20. After the update, the following technical problems occurred:

Problems with the KVM connection: it is not possible to establish a connection via the KVM console. When trying to connect, an error occurs related to a Java application that does not start. Clarification is required: Which version of Java is compatible with the current version of IMM2 (8.41) for KVM to work correctly?

When the server is turned on, the message "IMM test image" is displayed on the screen.

Please provide recommendations on how to solve these problems, in particular:

What version of Java should be installed for KVM to work correctly with IMM2 8.41?

What actions should be taken to eliminate the "IMM test image" message when booting?

The system runs on Windows 10.

The last QRadar appliance firmware update for the M4 devices is v7.0.0 which includes IMM2 version 7.40. (and UEFI v2.60)

So it looks like you have applied Lenovo updates to your appliance.

Given this, I suggest that you ask these questions to a Lenovo support channel - where somebody may be able to help.
