IBM Academic Initiative web site will be updated in early February with exciting new features for members including streamlined downloading of multiple course-ware and software assets. As part of this upgrade effort, there will be a temporary suspension of new membership applications.

The freeze is in effect from February 1-10, 2014. Please note this will NOT impact existing IBM Academic Initiative members' ability to access software or course-ware resources. The impact is limited to ability to process new membership applications.

To mitigate the impact of this new membership freeze, a temporary membership where faculty have an urgent need to join the IBM Academic Initiative program can be used. Temporary membership will be valid for only 30 days and the member will have to reapply at end of it.

Please contact ibmswed@us.ibm.com if you wish to start a new temporary membership application between February 1-10 due to an urgent need.
