With so many new cloud platforms (PAAS, SAAS, etc) from multiple vendors, how would the future landscape look like? Will there be consolidation around technologies? Or platforms? Or will there be a healthy completion amongst the top 2-3 platforms?
Using Computers as the reference. Look at the mainframe industry or the PC industry both enjoyed an expansion period with multiple vendors which were later consolidated to a few large players. Only the strong players will remain relevant.
