How to migrate APIC v2018 to CP4I?

    My client is going to migrate APIC v2018 on ICP to CP4I.
    I found from API Connect Upgrade Central: Migrate to Cloud Pak that the migrate path is not currently supported.
    I also found from     API Connect transformation guide that if I want to migrate from v2018 to CP4I, I need to upgrade to v10 stand-alone first, and then migrate to CP4I.

    Could you please provide migrate approach or technical runbook for this migration scenario?

    Hello Satit, 

    I have escalated your question to our team is here is their response and the order of the process. 

    1. Upgrade to 2018.4.1.13 which was the latest to support ICP. 
    2. Take a backup.
    3. Install OCP 4.6 somewhere else and Install 2018.4.13 there and restore the backup. then you can upgrade that to 2018.1.17+
    4. Upgrade OCP to 4.10
    5. Upgrade APIC to 10.0.5
    6. Then you can use FFM (form factor migration) to migrate to a CP4I based deployment (see KC here)

    it is surely not a fun or simple process but these are the mandatory steps that the team provided me with.
