  • 1.  How to Get Members:List output in CSV

    Posted Mon November 07, 2022 12:20 PM
    Hi Team,

I have to automate the process to get the list of users with the roles that they possess right now. I understand that the below APIs can be used to get the details but our team requires the data in CSV format. apic members:list - IBM Documentation

Is there a way to get in CSV format or what is the best way to convert the data from JSON to CSV.

    Hello Kshitij,

I escalated the question to our team - the only outputs available are JSON (as you pointed out) and yaml.

Waiting to see if there is a way to convert JSON to CSV through API Connect. In the meantime, I have seen some documentation on how to convert JSON to CSV on Stackoverflow, which can possibly help.. maybe worth trying?

    Best,

@Kshitij Khanna - our team sent the following link to a JSON to CSV converter that you might able to use: Upload JSON file, url or text. View in Excel or Open Office.

Here is the link to it: JSON to CSV

Hi @Gabriel Marte Blanco : Many thanks for your response, is there something possible within API Connect or DataPower, the above solution seems like a website but I was hoping to achieve the same using a customized API.

Also since I will have to save API Connect credentials within DataPower or APIC to call this members API (sending creds is not allowed in our org so no other system can send the same) what is the best solution for the same? Honestly I had also added a question the same as well incase you could help me with the same. (Link mentioned below)
