Hi All,

I am trying to delete the Asset which is linked to GIS but I am getting below error message.

BMXAS0040E - Cannot delete asset linked with a feature in the GIS map.

Could you please assist me how to delete the Asset. I am new to Maximo Spatial so any suggestions would be helpful.

I got the solution. First I need to remove the GIS feature details from the asset so to do that we need to provide the UNLINK GIS FEATURE sig option access to the user group and later provide the action details in application designer for the specific application.

Logout and then login to see the action details in Asset application. 1st click unlink GIS feature action then use delete Asset from asset application to delete the Asset.
