Since we are currently only quasi tracking CapEx projects, we would like to use the add a project in ITP to start tracking OpEx projects however we would like to have our own naming convention in the project code instead of the default.  By being able to change the code we would also be able to fully utilize ITP projects for capturing new/additional info on our CapEx projects as well.  Does anyone know how to change this?

The only way to change this is to publish the list of projects to the project reference data and then use the change identifier feature outlined here:IT Planning: What's New in September 5, 2018 Release (ver. 2.32)

This project number generation has become a real headache for our project planners as there is no rhyme or reason to what the numbers will be. Our previous version created a simple 4 digit project code sequentially that would fit nicely into the #digit parameters of our ledgers and project time tracking tools. Now we get a phone number...it really becomes apparent when you have something like the following which are created within mins of each other:

Bureau and Data Call Commercial - 1962431947

Bureau and Data Call Commercial Claims - 196246276

The first one is 10 digits and the second one 9...very odd
