Hi everybody,  is there any session variable in Cognos Analytics 11.0.6 where I can get the userid or uername? For example I need to show a report by region and only the region(s) which the user belongs to. How can I do this?.

Absolutely, it's called session parameters in Cognos.

Typically this is driven by membership in a Cognos Role.
If you add your user to a Role "East Sales", then you would want to test for membership in the group called "East Sales" then return results.
