With the network team and thanks to your post, we verified and it was effectively leaving through another interface and although that other one had fw permissions, an ACLs restriction to the domain did not allow the connection.

do you have multiple eth interfaces on you DP?
if so, check your routing table. If multiple routes exist with the same subnet mask and metric towards APIC, the routing table is non-deterministic and possible the outbound connection leaves from an interface you didn't allow in your firewall.

We have opened 443 from DP to API Management in reserved instance, from Management to DP I have open 3000 for the comunication and 40446 is our port for the APIs.

Can you check if the 443 port is accessible bi-directionally between API Manager and Datapower API Gateway. It could be a communication problem.

I also had a similar issue with 10.0.5.3 version of API Connect where, after hard reboot of datapower gateway I was getting similar error as yours. Since I had very less time to fix the issue, I have deleted and recreated the Datapower domain for APIConnect and then it started working.

I am having trouble registering a remote gateway in api connect in a reserved instance. 10.0.5.x
We had configured it a week ago, but after a restart of the dp, it no longer lets us configure it and we have not been able to determine what changed us.
We have an interface where we have port 3000 with FW permissions and in the other way to the reserved instance we have 443.
