Anyone that has had experience this issue: Our cost and our forecast are the same for past months and I'm unable to

to see cost for Sep-Mar. Is there any properties that you can change when using the line graph separate these 2 lines separately? Or would you have to do an overlay with a bar graph for costs? Trying to think how best to visualize this.

You're right that if Cost and Forecast are the same for some or all months, they'll visually overlap completely in the line chart, making only one of them visible at a time (unless a user clicks the legend to toggle their display on/off).

Your idea of using an overlay (bar chart + line chart) sounds like a good workaround.
