Can I export my budget to excel?  and can I import as well?  I want to be able to export my budget to excel, make changes there and bring those back in.  Is that possible?

Hi Jay -

Yes, there's an export function which will drop your plan into a CSV.  In the Line Items view, go over to Actions in the upper left and there is an "Export to File" in the dropdown.

As for import, it's different based on the state of the plan - when New, import the consolidated plan for the All Cost Centers view.  When Open, plans can only be imported at the lowest level.

Yes - you can export your budget to excel, make changes there, and import those changes using the mechanisms that Scott described in his reply.  We designed the import/export feature to explicitly support that scenario. 

Something to keep in mind when you import a plan is that you are replacing all line items in the current version of your budget with those in import file.  There is no "merge" or "add" when importing, just "replace".
