I'm using Excel 2013 and CPLEX 12.5. System is Windows 7 Home premium SP1, 64bit.

The first time I add the CPLEX add-in with the file "cplex125.xll", the dialog was done but cplex is not shown in the Add-in tag.

Then after restarting Excel, automatically it asks "the file format and extension of 'cplex125.xll' don't match. The file could be corrupted or unsafe. Unless you trast its source, don't open it. Do you want to open it anyway?"

I chose Yes and excel displays a file with messy codes. Just copy a small piece:

MZÿÿ¸@º´ Í!¸LÍ!This program cannot be run in DOS mode.

I have reinstalled excel and cplex and set the non-unicode language to English (US).

Has this happened? How to solve the problem? Thanks!

    Phil

You could also try to install the 32-bit version of CPLEX, but performance might degrade.

By the way: Why don't you use CPLEX 12.6.1?
