  • 1.  Event Studio in version 11.1.7 FP3

    Can anyone point to the documentation for enabling Event Studio in 11.1.7 FP 3?
    We haven't used it yet in this version but we are considering to.
    The capability 'Event Studio' is enabled but the Event Studio is not to be found under "+ New" -> "+ Other" (only 'Drill-through definitions' and 'Workspace' are visible).

    Hi Ori,

    Event Studio is only available in IE or Mozilla (Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge Chromium). You might want to test with another browser than the one you are using.

    Note: edited to add Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge Chromium.

    Since Microsoft is no longer supporting IE, I've been using Event Studio in Firefox and had no problems. It's good news to hear it is being supported in Chrome and Chromium! I wonder if it will get an overhaul as well?

    Good morning Ori,

    The good news here is that IBM has made Event Studio available in Chrome and Edge Chromium in version 11.2.1, and has plans to include that update in the next 11.1.7 fix pack (#4 - timeframe tbd).

    Of course, standard disclaimer on future functionality... they might not get it into fix pack 4 for R7, but it's the plan and they're pretty good and getting these things done.
