I have created one value prompt .when report ran its getting duplicate rows because filed is having duplicates
how to remove those duplicates so that I can get unique selections in selection box.

It sounds like the query you are using to populate the value prompt has additional detail that causes the list of value to repeat. (You would see January 31 times if you had a date query item in the same query for example).  The easiest fix is to create a new query to populate the prompt and only bring in the field you need without additional details.

In a perfect world, you would have a clean dimension table where each value is distinct.  Since you don't have that, try to populate another query from the query you have now to get just the distinct list.
