Does moving away from Java/applet processing impact back-end horse power?

We are moving away from client Java/applet processing. Does this have any impact on back-end horse power? Do we need more processing power to support multiple users accessing the Topoviz pieces at the same time?

    Hi Albert,

Yes, I believe that you will se an increase in memory usage in your jvm's since applets are rendered at user-end and the new version of your application will be hosted at server-side, probably the new version of your application will have a front-end in jsf/jsp.
