Just wanted to put it out there are ask over how many years you all depreciate servers and storage.  I have heard 3 years, and I have heard 5 years.  Just wondering what methodology you all use for depreciation lives for IT assets.  Thank you so much!

Our depreciation life is pretty much 3 years for all equipment. Anything that's not, is due to whatever agreement is set in place with each particular vendor, so there are some that are 2, 4, 5, or 7 but very small numbers comparatively. But for the most part, the vast majority is 3 years, so we can try to stay as current as possible.
