I've noticed that when multiple plans are active that the alphabetically "first" plan seems to be always on view when I open IT Planning.  This is the case even if that is not the plan I was working with when I logged out.  (No one else on my team is currently using IT Planning, so no one else is involved yet.)

Does anyone know how to change the default so that the plan on view when I open Apptio will be the one I most recently using? 

And, if there are multiple users, can the default "recognize" a user and show the view/plan that particular user was most recently using?

Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to select the default plan.  However, we will soon be changing the default plan behavior to always remember the last plan you were "on" rather than the current behavior.

I had the same question. We have 5 different plans for our 2016 budget - and would like to be able to select the plan that defaults to our end users. Even it if defaulted to the last one they viewed, that would be an improvement. By default, how does the system determine which plan to default to in the current release? And, any timing on the enhancement?
