I want the default month to display in my project, so for that i just edit in the time settings tab under the Project ribbon.

after check-in, it wont display the March, it display when a user opens a project, the last active time period displays, did i miss something, i am unable to get the default month.

can you help me with the solution.

Try changing the one above it - end of project - to March as well.

If you were using R11, I'd ask if you were doing this in Stage and if you had copied everything up, but sounds like you are using R12, so will wait for someone using R12 to respond.

At the moment, the default time period setting in R12 only affects the very first time a user logs in, not their subsequent logins. This issue (code BIIT-65207) is slated to be addressed in a future R12 version. You may want to follow the R12.x release notes page, which lists specific issue codes.

FYI - @Johann Malherbe�. This has been raised by some stakeholders. It is quite a nag to reset the time period each time they login, instead it defaulting to the latest time period.
