Is there any way to add a time stamp to a raw data load without having to add the date and time manually to a new field?  I would like to pull the most current raw data upload into a transform by using the most current date in a unique row filter.

Unfortunately there is no way that I am aware to pull the Raw Data Last Updated field into a column on a dataset.

That being said, I've helped other customers add this to a report to show the timestamp the raw data was last updated. To do this you could.

1. Insert Freshness Table

2. Show the "Raw Data Last Updated" column:

3. Filter this table to just the dataset(s) you want to show on the report.

I understand this won't give you a column in a table to manipulate, but it may give you an idea of something different to try. I am also unaware if you could create a lookup against the freshness table in a transform to pull this data in to your transform.

I found out from our CSM, you can get Raw data last updated information in the report below

Data Quality/Summary report - scroll down to the bottom of the report, and on the Data Expiration tab, you can see the info

That "update" date is an indication of when the table's config was last changed...not when data was last uploaded. 

I wonder if someone is looking into adding this as an enhancement to Datalink software? This can be a great feature we can use in our reports.
