I want to create a custom dimension and link it to Dept and Internal/External resource type on the labor tab.  If I am in department  20 and select Internal, I want to see a list of Internal employees for department 20.  I believe I would use Custom Dimension and Custom Attribute but I do not know how to link the new dimension to the other fields.

PS. This is my first ever post.  If I put this in the wrong area, any suggestions on that would also help.

Hi,

Dependent pick lists are not currently supported within the tool but it is actively been looked at.

However, with the new Data Management features that are coming out you can make lists of items and add them to which ever tab you want within the tool. Watch the ITP User Group recording for more information on the new features coming so you can see if they can help you with some of your use case:ITP User Group July
