In terms of accessing the data in CPLEX directly using OPL if a data source has an ODBC/OLEDB driver for our target OS should be ok. A use case has been asked where a CPLEX model running on an on premise server might access data on our Hadoop cluster?
 
Is this something that is supported from OPL across Linux or Windows presumably it is a per Hadoop application basis example odbc on hive?
