This is related to a conversation I had with Ed Klotz at MIP 2013.
I just got the new Samsung Chromebook. It's an ARM machine (Samsung Exynos 5 Dual Processor). Using chroot (https://github.com/dnschneid/crouton), one can run a standard Linux distribution alongside Chrome OS (Ubuntu, for example).
It would be really nice to be able to code and test my code with this machine, but from what I understand there are not CPLEX binaries available for the ARM architecture. I know most of the newer machines focused on mobility (tablets, phones) are based in ARM.
I would appreciate if you could consider my request. I don't really know much about computer architecture but I'll be glad to provide you with more information regarding the particular case of the Chromebook.
Thanks in advance,
Rodolfo
