    There is a chapter about handling memory issues in the manual.

    Basically, what you need to do is to set CPX_PARAM_NODEFILEIND to 2 or 3 and CPX_PARAM_WORKMEM to something that is smaller than the RAM on your computer (the default value 2048 may work for you). This will instruct CPLEX to swap out part of the search tree to disk (which usually has more room than RAM).
