I'm just adding users to IT Planning (yay!) and I had a question regarding Cost Center assignments.  Are Cost Centers assigned to users via the Cost Center reference data or do you also have to edit something in their user profile to ensure they can only access specific Cost Centers?

Hi Molly,

Yes, users are assigned to Cost Centers via the Cost Centers table in Reference Data. Make sure to assign users the "Cost Center Owner" role in the Admin Console. If you want to restrict user access to labor salary details you'll need to create a custom role (How?).

Also, make sure in the Company Profile the "Enforce View Permissions" is checked to allow Cost Center Owners to only view the cost center plans they own.
