We have been considering do this as well. I was considering doing something like I handle our chargeback contracts. I setup the contract itself in Contracts. Then I put a reversing credit in the Other tab. Those 2 net to zero. Then your asset can be in the asset tab like normal. I haven't had time to put this into effect though. It does work for our chargeback contracts.

Subject: Consultancy Contracts in Planning
Hi all,
We have consultancy contracts that we do not currently enter in the Contracts tab of Planning as it's for work that will be capitalized - so we are currently showing it in the Planned Assets tab.
Is there a way to capture all the contract details (dates etc) but also be a Planned Asset without duplication of values?
Is this something anybody else has come across? any ideas would be greatefully received.
Thanks
