In the charts presented on our dashboards, we noticed a monthly report trend. To elaborate, we've concluded charts can only display monthly data, verses tables that often are capable of displaying monthly, quarterly, or yearly data by user selection. Is there a way to make the tables display YTD data?

We examined the editing tools, but could not discover a way to change the monthly consistency.

Yes there is a way to add year to date to the reports. I assume you are speaking about this picker:

You can add any time frames to this by going into dev, clicking on edit mode and choosing the grouping above. An ad hoc query box will then pop up where you can add any time periods by using the time perspective:

You can add it to the available fields and it will then become an option once saved.
