    How can the data type be changed from from decimal to %? The properties appear to be set to decimal.

    Hey Kevin,

    Is this an uploaded file you will need to create a data module off of the uploaded file to create your percent calculation.

    I would guess that you do not have correct permissions to use Data Modules. I would suggest checking with your Cognos sys admin to review your permissions or have a data modeler build the data module for you. Alternatively, you can create a custom calculation in the dashboard to create your percent calculation.

    Please find the below attached visualizations..

    1) Select particular visualization go for properties and change the property of value label format from value to Percentage of Category.

    I don't think this works for a cross tab report. But I was able to get a % by using a calculation.
