We're having an issue where once we've finished the current month end we notice that our previous month's values change but we're unsure why.

Has anyone else had this issue before and could offer some advice? (we're in R12)

The values you imply, I'm assuming these are KPIs ? It could be possible that the KPI might be leveraging some Formula/metric which relies on Quarterly values. Another scenario could be, if the Current Month data is overwriting the previous month data in the previous month ( May Data gets loaded in May, but also overwrites the April Data in April). I'm thinking that, maybe it could an issue with the Datalink connector configuration ?

Apologies I should have been more specific, the values are the actual costs for the previous months. 

We've found one application where it's associated costs change in previous months when we complete the current month end. The value's are reduced by approx half with this cost then being spread to a number of other applications.

We have no automated data feeds as we load everything manually at the moment and none have been loaded in to the wrong month

The changes in Actuals:

- Are these changes present only in the Apps & Services layer ? Is there any variation in values at the the Financial/Infra layer ?

I'm thinking that it could be something to do with an allocation which uses Weights, but the calculation of these weights may be somehow going wonky.

I didn't think of looking at the allocations, will have a look at this and will see if it's this.

Varghese George - First thoughts that crossed my mind. 

We saw a one time unexplained change that we're still chasing but it sounds like you're seeing this on a recurring basis.  True ?

Yeah that's true George. Just not sure what's happening with this one!

Not yet I'm still working on it - I've created a test branch and going through a few dev changes to see if that fixes it
