Hi, We have a couple of key figures and for each of them we need more or less the same set of dashboard visualizations. A nice feature would be to easily change a key figure for a whole tab or the whole dashboard without the need to edit it. Is there a better solution than what I found below? Maybe it works more because of a bug than because of a feature.. 
* I created an extra table with only one column and one row for each key figure ('key figure 1', 'key figure 2', ...) 
* This table is included in the Framework Manager model but completely free from relations to the rest of the star schema model (cross product)
* In the dashboard I created a tab filter on this column with which I can choose the key figure I like to use
* A dashboard calculation consists of a CASE on this column referencing to the selected key figure from the source
* The visualizations only use this calculated dynamic key figure
* Of course I must select only one key figure in the tab filter at the same time because of the cross product

For anyone interested: I found a better solution with a calculation based on a prompt macro function. By the way: prompt macros in dashboards provide a helpful feature that is worth promoting.
