  • 1.  Can I spin up a new standalone APIC analytics instance on CP4I 2022.2 to separate prod and non-prod environment?

    Posted Tue August 15, 2023 11:42 PM

I found this document, https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/cloud-paks/cp-integration/2023.2?topic=amd-deploying-api-analytics-subsystem-linux-x86-64-cli. However, it's under CP4I 2023.2. I don't see any instructions to create API management subsystems in version 2022.2 which I don't find such instruction for spinning up API C analytics instance as subsystem, API management deployment

    Ibm remove preview
    API management deployment
Deploy an instance of IBM API Connect so that you can create, manage, and share APIs.

    . Thanks

Give those instructions a try - obviously you'd need to use the right APIC version for what you have installed in place of "10.0.6.0" - 10.0.5.4 maybe?
You'd need to use the right license ID too.

Oh and pick a realistic storage size - 50Gb isn't going to be enough space for anyone! Maybe try 200Gb though it depends on your TPS usage.

Many thanks Chris, for your input. Ok, will try to spin up an environment and try it out.
