  • 1.  bscBase compensation column data after excel import

    Posted 06/08/16 05:27 PM

Please clarify if I'm doing something wrong, or if this is the "normal" tool reaction, or if this is a bug.

Cost center managers are able to upload labor data from excel into ITPF. It works well except that the base compensation column is not automatically populated. Right after the upload is completed the base compensation column is blank and has a "busy pointer" return to default base compensation. The cost center manager has to click on each one for the base compensation to appear and calculate in Opex. When you have many employees this step defeats part of the purpose of importing excel data.

    Thank You

In your Labor import file, make sure the "Default Compensation Override" column is equal to FALSE and the "Base Compensation" column is blank if you want IT Planning to use the default rate. Otherwise set "Default Compensation Override" equal to TRUE and enter an amount in the "Base Compensation" column.
