  • 1.  Best practice to copy data from ITPF into Hyperion

Once we complete our ITPF based process, Finance has to enter the output into Hyperion. This is a manual intense process. Would anyone has ideas on how to automate it?

    Hi,

Does Hyperion have an import feature?

    Thanks,

    Lauren

Do you have Cost Transparency? We push the magic button to have the current plan pushed over to CT and then we have a very simple report that gives an export to send our Hyperion team. Feel free to reach out to me directly if you would like a screenshot of the report (it's a super simple one that we use for a number of validation processes).

We take an approach very similar to what Robert describes.  We're pushing the Cost Transparency view after the Plan has been pushed through the model but if what you want is to push the raw plan data I'm sure you could do that as well once it's been pushed into CT.

@Paul Matthews - Something to think about for next Budget cycle?

Yes, seems like a quick win and improvement over our current process.
