I was under the impression that the SPT would automagically load the VIO and AIX partitions somehow but I don't see any way to select such an option. I've created a resource repository (with OS_install on the HMC) where I assume at least the VIO would install from.

I guess automating the VIO install is a good place to start ...

Ahhh, I see that when opening a new system plan there is an "Installation" tab available which allows the specification of a "load source".

Or in other words, "how do i get the installation tab" to whow up"? If I "create a new system plan" and select "based on IBM-supplied sameple systems" then i get and "installation" tab. However, if I just create it myself no "installation" tab appears.
