Hi Team...

We have created sub theme and changed the default banner in CSS for API Developer Portal. The changes were successfully tested in test environment, but when we applied the same in production, it is not working. The custom images are not getting displayed in the portal.

Please could you confirm:

• what version and fixpack are you using?
• are you using the exact same custom theme for both sites?
• Is your UAT site in the same cluster as the Production site?

With only screenshots to go on I can only think that either the images are missing from the theme or the css is not quite the same in the custom theme uploaded to the 2 sites.  Otherwise there are file permission issues in the environment for the production site if hosted in a different cluster.

Have you checked www web pod logs? Or admin pod logs? It will show you reason why it is not displayed.

Please check www web or admin pod logs for more detail on why banner is not displayed.

If the logs have rolled over then you will have to recreate the issue and then check.

Thank you Dipali and Annie for your responses.  It turned out that the banner images were loaded directly in VM file path and referenced in CSS to be the issue. In developer portal structure menu there is an option to create content type and change the theme and banner image. I have used this method and it worked fine.
