My company is using IBM API Connect to power its website. on the page where we display the various plans that our users can subscribe to ( demo plan, standard plan, etc. ) they are all listed as being "free" when they are not, which causes confusion with our customers.

I know that the yaml file has a Plans: section and that fills out most of the table thats being generated, but I can not find where the "Free" is coming from.

Does anyone have any ideas? I do know that in Version 10 these tables do not display the "Free" line at all, not sure if that tidbit of info helps.

Hi Kevin, 

I checked with the team and "Free" was not designed to be customized so there is no yaml customization. It is how it works in v5.  This was changed in v10 as you mentioned. 

One possibility is to try using custom translations in the portal to change the translation of Free to be something else.

That should only appear if you have billing enabled on one or more products. 
The string itself is not configurable - it is what is displayed if billing is enabled on at least one other product in this catalog, but is not enabled on this specific product.
If this product isn't using billing then try removing the 'billing-model' section from the plans in the product document and see if that makes the "Free" disappear.

I assume you're using billing on other products ?
