    If the lpar is not a vio client, just delete it.
    If it is a vio client you must remove its virtual devices on the vio server/s and remove the client scsi adapters on the hmc. If the client adapters are paired with server adapters as opposed to server adapters created with "Any client partition can connect" rmdev the server adapters on the vio server/s then remove the server adapters from the vio server/s profile.
