  • 1.  Adding another domain as authorized sender on CAoC

    Posted 08/12/22 10:46 AM
When we test the email functionality of reports we developed for our clients on their CAoC environment, the emails end up in the Junk Folder. After a quick review of the email header, we believe it is because the CAoC is expecting the sender to come from the client's domain so when we are the sender (IBM ID associated with a different email domain), it fails the sender policy in outlook (SPF).  Is there a way to add our domain to the client's CAoC environment as authorized sender?

    Hi Rochelyn,

From Manage / System / Security, you might try to setup the "Allowlist email domains" value.

Use this parameter to set an allowlist of email domains. When the parameter is set, emails can be sent only to the specified email domains. The value is a comma-separated list of domains, for example: ibm.com, domain.com, mail.com. If no value is specified, any email domain can be sent a message.

If it is not working, you probably need to contact IBM Support.

    Best regards,
