Hello,
I'm running Lion on a 64-bit mac, and I've been using the python interface with good success, but only by gutting my python install and forcing it to run in 32-bit mode. Using other python libraries, including say rpy2, scipy, numpy, is a huge nightmare as these are all 64-bit on my machine and/or have non-python dependencies that are all compiled 64-bit and don't have "universal" port descriptions.
I am grateful for the academic version of cplex, but can we please
please have a 64-bit python interface? Is it in 12.4? Will the academics get 12.4 soon? This is really killing me.
Sincerely,
Dan
