Hi Team,

While we are connecting to SFTP adapter via sterling secure proxy from winSCP using key authentication method we are facing this issue.

"Server refused our key , access denied"

Let me explain what we did,
we have configured sftp adapter reverse proxy configuration in IBM Sterling secure proxy, we have created Policy, and we have created netmap- while creating netmap we given sftp adapter details in outbound and public certificate which is configured in sftp adapter.

Then we created sftp reverse proxy adapter in place of Local Host Key Store we created another pair of keys and gave private key and we gave all required fields.

After creating of SFTP Adapter we have restarted the adapter,and the adapter is running fine. 

Now when we are trying to login to the sftp adapter using winscp we are facing the "server refused our key ,access denied"

Parmeters passed in winscp while connecting to sftp adapter

IP address : IBM sterling secure proxy IP

Port  :  Port which is configured while creating SFTP adapter in IBM sterling secure proxy

User & Password : SFTP adapter user name and password

and in place of key we have tried with public key and private also but still we are facing issue.

could anyone please suggest a solution for this "server refused our key ,access denied" issue

Dear Laxman,

Did you configured the keys in SSP for SFTP authentication? May be you can share screens

Do you know if the connection is failing between WinSCP and SSP, or SSP and SI/SFG?
