    Hi,

Is it possible to integrate ITX with Axway, where ITX as the Translator and Axway as Communication? If so what are the best options.

    Regards,

    Raja

    Hi Rajasekhar,

Integration is certainly possible.  The route you take will depend on what the backend database is for your Axway install and/or what API's are available with your installation.  Do you have the B2B package? Do you have Amplify or Sentinel products?  Windows or Unix?

    https://docs.axway.com/bundle/Sentinel_420_InstallationGuide_allOS_en_HTML5/page/Content/InstallationGuide/prereqs/prereqs_supported_databases.htm

Most installations I've worked with were MS SQL Server, but could be Oracle or MySQL etc.  ITX has built in adapters to interact with the DB or to be able to work with API calls.  So really the question is much too broad to be able to answer definitively as it depends on what you need to do, how you want to do it within the security/audit policies of your company, and how the product is installed.

Broadly, yes integration is possible.  How you might accomplish that integration is open ended without further details.  My guess is that what might be best is a mix of ETL/SQL based work to transfer data to holding tables, run your translations, and send back into what ever B2B tables are needed for Axway to send the communication, but that is a wild guess based on integrations I've worked with in the past.

Hope this is of some use.
