  • 1.  default admin user not accessible on design server V11

    Hi all,

I did a fresh installation of the version 11 of the design server in a local VM. I did the docker installation, so I got 4 images and then 4 containers up and running: tx-client, tx-server, redis and mongo.

In my browser I access to the login page in my browser with https request on port 4443 using the IP of my VM. On that page, I tried to enter the default  username/password : admin/admin.

I get the following error message : "Invalid username or password".

However those values are from the documentation  : User Management

    Am I missing something?

    Best Regards,

    Thomas

    For V11:

To bring up the Design Server UI, use URL https://localhost:4443/login

To find the password, locate file adminpassword.txt.

I installed Design Server in Windows, this is where I find the file.

Login as admin/password.  The password is no longer admin, it can be found in a file in your folder.  It is c:\IBM\txfiles\adminpassword.txt.  When the GUI is opened, Go to your Workspace.  The first screen has changed.

    Hi Rex,

Thanks for your quick answer it helped a lot. I did my installation on linux, so it's just slightly different.

I found the file adminpassword.txt containing the password in the directory /opt/txfiles.

    I can connect now, thanks.

I sent a report on the documentation, I hope it will be corrected.

    Best Regards,

    Thomas
