Hi there,Company has already an IBM CLoud account and some workloads on the cloud for almost 200 users/employees,To access workloads each user establish an SSL VPN tunnel to a Fortinet gateway to company premises and then through a direct connection to IBMCloud on an VRA,
For saving costs and due to pandemic, company would like to remove this Fortigateway and so each user connects directly to the VRA as a telecommuter., through an OpenSSL connection
Could this be done for all 200 users? Which is the best suggestion for such an environment? Many thanks,Iñaki
Thank you for using IBM Cloud!
Per Stack Overflow article, there are no limits to SSL connections:https://stackoverflow.com/questions/45686/is-there-a-limit-with-the-number-of-ssl-connections
And there are great answers there so you would want to evaluate those factors as well.On a side note, this company in question could possibly benefit from VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)... We have VMware Horizon if you want to explore other avenue.
