IBM Rising Champions and Advocates

What a great call we had on May 15, 2024 for all the wonderful advocates, who support IBM technologies. If you missed it… don’t despair! You can catch the replay and download all the materials right now!

We dedicated the call to the following topics:

  • “How-to” start, join, run, and participate in an IBM User Group

This wonderful presentation from our IBM User Group team, featuring @Divya Koppolu and @Peter Nightingale, who talked about all you need to know about IBM user groups, what user group members do, what is their focus, and how you can participate. There are so many benefits to being part of a user group, and IBM is here to support! Visit the User Group Community to find out more!

  • “How-to” create and run a great Podcast

We had a little podcast fun interviewing two of our IBM Champions, @Julia Carter and @Marcus Davage, who discussed their popular podcast called Db2 Table Talk. We talked about how the podcast came to life, some of the benefits of running a podcast, what kind of preparation goes into a podcast, some of the technical work one may need to do, and much more.

Then, we were joined by IBM Rising Champion, @Alzares Stephens and @Anji Stephens, who just launched a new podcast with @Henri Kuiper on May 13 called Diary of a Mainframer! They also brought their voice to the conversation, describing some of the behind-the-scenes work and plans they are doing for this new podcast.

We would love to hear your thoughts about podcasts! Join the discussion thread: Tell Us: Everything we should know about podcasting and share the best podcasts out there!

Most of all... don't miss all the great things we talked about on the call and watch the replay!
