I saw
this APAR come through yesterday and it reminded me of a feature I requested a while back.
Currently in PAW 2.0.57 (and possibly newer), when navigating the Databases trees, you get the first 20 items then need to click Load more... to get the next few. As the OP of the APAR mentioned, this can be a pain on larger systems as you have to keep clicking to open up more items.
What I logged on the "old" RFE system was the ability to apply a filter to the Database tree, just like you would do in SQL server management studio. You could simply apply an expression and whittle the list down to a relevant and manageable size. Ideally you may want to be able to save these filters as shortcuts e.g. save a filter for anything to do with sales so that you can click and apply at a later date.
There is plenty of space above the databases list - right now, only the word Data and the refresh icon. A text field and an apply./clear icon would fit nicely. Alternatively, mimic the Search functionality like on Shared and Personal folders.
I would still like to see the Load more disappear but curious to hear what other think of these ideas before I load on the Ideas site.
