Use cases include advertisements, job or product descriptions, email templates, and triaging support tickets with notifications and redirects. 

• [Technology Preview] IBM Workflow Assistant:  Use the guided experience with the new IBM Workflow Assistant powered by watsonx.ai to find, understand, and complete tasks in Workplace. The assistant helps you filter tasks, ask questions about tasks, create task summaries, manage teams, and generate content such as emails, feedback, and descriptions. 

• [Technology Preview] - Watsonx Orchestrate Skills: Integrate a vast variety of watsonx Orchestrate skills that can leverage 1000+ out-of-the-box skills with common applications such as Gmail, Box, Twilio, Salesforce, Workday, Outlook in your workflow automation. Reduce your operational costs by using existing watsonx Orchestrate skills to develop your custom solutions.

2. Easily move your inflight instances from Business Automation Workflow to Cloud Pak for Business Automation 

• When you move from Business Automation Workflow 24.0.1.0  to Cloud Pak for Business Automation 24.0.1, you can now use your process and case instance databases from the traditional environment and continue running and completing your inflight instances in Cloud Pak for Business Automation without any loss of data. 

3. [CP4BA] Integration enhancements for process applications and case solutions and their external systems 

• Discover and invoke web service operations of document literal wrapper style even when the input message does not reference the external service’s operation name.  

4. CI/CD pipeline enhancements for deployment of snapshot packages 

• Integrate Business Automation Workflow with JFrog artifactory to enable developers to store snapshot packages in a centralized repository and monitor builds and deployments in real time. 

• Workflow export and deployment packages can now include artifacts with file types that explicitly indicate their content. This enhancement facilitates CI/CD pipeline scanning tools to accurately identify the content type of each artifact 

5. Build process applications and case solutions more easily in Process Designer 

• You can now use new customizable task pages that are based on the common UI framework shared by case, process tasks and Workplace. These pages include customizable task lists that provide additional filters based on case data. The additional filters can help users focus on relevant tasks instead of manually searching through the entire list of tasks.   

• You can now use common case operations, including file documents to a case, find activities for a case, get the current case stage, and get related cases more easily as part of your workflows to improve your productivity when you build your process or case pages.
