Using the Datalink connector, I am trying to pull data from Apptio Report with report API. The connector is getting failed to pull data with "file not found" exception.

But if i use Legacy API, then it is working.

Any one know what is the reason behind this? and also any suggestion how to build data link connector by using report API and without using Legacy API?

I understand legacy API points to the data table path and also the filters, grouping applied in it. But I wanted to have my connector with regular API with Report path that points to the particular component id(table in report)

Are you using the regular or the classic version of Datalink? What connector are you employing?

We use Datalink (Classic) and the Copy Table connector. What we want is to extract data from the report and populate a table inside Apptio. If this is the case, please let me know and I'll give more details.

You might be trying to download the data to a file to your computer. I think I tried this a while ago, and need to see how I did that. I'll update later.

I Datalink (Classic) and the Copy Table connector, but the only concern I have is on the report API.

My use case if to pull the data from "Apptio report" and Load it into "Apptio table". For this I use the API from "Apptio report" (By right clicking the table component--> Show API )

Only "Legacy API" is working. All other API is Not working. Please advise if my explanation is not clear and thanks much
