Turbonomic is aware of when the VMs are down and will use that information in its recommendations - and its savings. When the action is looking at 30days history - it's not including the time the machine was off but the last 30d of ON Time. It also only gives a projected savings based on % of when it was off the last 30 days.

Subject: Turbonomics
We are using Turbonomics to review our AWS landscape and determine where we can save money on running servers. We have scheduled and on-demand start/stop in place for many of our servers. How does that impact the results coming back from Turbonomics. Won't the results be skewed for those servers that are stopped during my hours of each day. Or will Turbonomics be aware of that situation and makes its recommendations based on that knowledge? I know if has a Parking feature, but we have our own mechanism in place today.
Thanks,
Kurt
