Increased agility is facilitating more changes being delivered into automated CI/CD pipelines with humans having little time to assess the risk of those changes.  Should you or shouldn't you let this code change go into production?

Come learn more about the learning models and relationship between changes and incidents for risk prediction and how it is surfaced in IBM Cloud Pak for Watson AIOps.

    Hi Michael and Anita,
In addition to this proactive change risk management based on the history of incident and change tickets, is there a functionality in Watson AIOps that allows to calculate the risks based on the network topologies?
For example, in the context of a network topology, to be able to detect the impact that a change that would be made on a core network equipment could have on end customers, while taking into account the redundancy features. That is to say that if the customer has 2 redundant network accesses and that the risk of the change could affect only one of the 2 links, then the final risk for the customer will be minimal, probably via the use of topology manager and Burst Radius? If it exists I would be very interested in some slides that describe this feature.
    Best Regards,
    Didier

    Hi Didier,
Thank you for your question and your interest in change risk.  Currently, there isn't the ability to calculate risks based on the network topology.  If you would like us to consider it for a future release, you can enter requirements here at our IBM Idea portal for Watson AIOps - https://automation-management.ideas.aha.io/?project=IRISCART.

    Thanks
    Anita
