New product features and functions in version 1.6.5

Netcool Operations Insight on OpenShift® 1.6.5 provides event management capabilities in IBM Cloud Pak® for Watson™ AIOps 3.4.0.

New features in version 1.6.5
The following features and functions are available in the Netcool Operations Insight 1.6.5 product:
You can partition scope-based and temporal event groups by using guardrails. For more information, see Configuring guardrails.
Runbook Automation
  • Automation output filtering: filter the output of Script automations or HTTP automations to return only the subset of data that you are interested in. This is useful when you use the output of one automation as the input for another automation. For more information, see Creating Script automations or Creating HTTP automations.
  • Miscellaneous UI improvements and fixes.
  • Security fixes.
ONAP AAI service

The Open Network Automation Platform (ONAP) Active and Available Inventory (AAI) service provides an interface to the ASM graph database. For more information, see Configuring the ONAP AAI service.

Topology updates

Several topology updates are included with Netcool Operations Insight on OpenShift. For more information, see the What's new topic in the IBM Agile Service Manager documentation.

HP NFVD Observer

The HP NFVD observer fileload job consumes topology data from a file. For more information, see the Configuring HP NFVD Observer jobs topic in the IBM Agile Service Manager documentation.

SDC ONAP Observer

You configure Service Design and Creation (SDC) Open Network Automation Platform (ONAP) Observer jobs to dynamically load data from the SDC REST interface. For more information, see the Configuring SDC ONAP Observer jobs topic in the IBM Agile Service Manager documentation.

Integrating with AI Manager
