Watson AIOps in Action: An Incident Timeline

Incident Management is the practice of restoring a damaged service as quickly as possible. In a recent IBM Cloud article, I described the Incident Management process twice — at first without Watson AIOps and then with Watson AIOps — in order to show the differences and (significant!) advantages of Watson AIOps.

Without Watson AIOps incident management & troubleshooting is a difficult process, requiring a lot of manual work (and time!) to integrate different tools across application and infrastructure layers. Watson AIOps functions as a "virtual SRE" who aggregates and analyses the data - presenting the humans with insights when they need them most.
